采油井口注入蒸汽两相流测量


An oil field operator using Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) saturated steam injection wished to improve the control of steam quality injection. Optimal production requires precise control of the saturated steam quality. However, traditional methods of estimating the steam quality were rudimentary so the operator wished to test the VorCone meter's ability measure the quality.

油田采用提高采收率(EOR)饱和注汽技术,希望改善对注射蒸汽质量的控制。最佳生产要求精确控制饱和蒸汽质量。然而,传统的估算蒸汽质量的方法是不成熟的,所以操作人员希望测试VorTek VorCone仪表测量质量的能力。

A 3”VorTek VorCone meter inclusive of the diagnostic system PrognosisTM was installed at the injection point, see Figure 2, as was a portable reference separator system, see Figure 1. Field operators repeatedly changed valve settings to trend a change in steam quality. Figure 3 shows the VorCone meters steam quality predictions compared to the reference system. The primary VorCone meter system measured the changing quality far more accurately than the operator's estimates by valve setting, see Figure 3. For example, the operators set what they estimated should be about 60% quality, the VorCone meter showed 42%, and the reference showed 39.5%.

VorTek VorCone meter independently trended the change in quality, as required. That is, the VorCone meter has the rare capability to trend steam quality using two independent physical principles, it has steam quality trending redundancy.

VorTek VorCone仪表根据需要独立地显示质量变化趋势。也就是说,VorCone仪表具有罕见的能力,使用两个独立的物理原理跟踪蒸汽质量,它有蒸汽质量跟踪冗余。
